The Culprit and the Cure:
This is a great read written by one of my college professors if you are brand new to eating healthier and living a better lifestyle.
One of my favorite books of all time. I reread it every couple of years. This will change the way you feel about “dieting” forever and train you to listen to your body, which will always tell you what it needs. This is the philosophy I live by that completely changed my life.
I don’t believe in “diets,” but I love the premise of this book- eating foods as close to their natural form as possible.
In Defense of Food:
This will make you think about where you food comes from, how far food has come from its original form, and make you reconsider what you put in your mouth.
